Our Commitment to Product Safety

The cosmetic and personal care products available on our website are selected from Romanian brands and authorized sources. For cosmetic products placed on the EU market, the applicable safety framework includes Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009, which requires cosmetic products to be safe for human health when used under normal or reasonably foreseeable conditions of use.

Before being made available on the EU market, cosmetic products must have appropriate safety documentation, including a cosmetic product safety assessment, and must be linked to a designated Responsible Person established in the European Union.

As an online retailer, CENARA Skincare works to display clear and relevant product information so that customers can make informed purchasing decisions.

Product Information and Transparency

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate and useful product information on our website, including:

Where applicable, product safety and compliance responsibilities may involve manufacturers, importers, distributors, Responsible Persons under the EU Cosmetic Regulation, or other relevant economic operators within the supply chain.

For cosmetic products, the designated Responsible Person is responsible for ensuring that the product complies with the relevant requirements of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009. This includes ensuring that the required Product Information File and safety documentation are kept available for the period required by law.

GPSR and Online Product Safety

The General Product Safety Regulation strengthens the EU framework for consumer product safety, including products sold online.

Where applicable to the products we sell, we work to support GPSR principles by:

  • making product identification information available to customers;

  • providing relevant safety information, instructions and warnings where required;

  • maintaining supply and traceability records;

  • cooperating with suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and competent authorities when necessary;

  • taking appropriate action if a product safety concern is identified;

  • informing customers in the event of a relevant product safety notice, withdrawal or recall.

Authentic Romanian Products

CENARA Skincare is dedicated to original Romanian skincare, cosmetics and personal care products.

Product Safety Concerns

  • batch number or lot number, if visible on the packaging;

Product Withdrawal or Recall

In the unlikely event of a product withdrawal or recall, CENARA Skincare will take appropriate steps to inform affected customers where we are able to identify them.

Depending on the situation and applicable legal requirements, this may include:

  • direct customer communication by email;

  • information published on our website;

  • instructions for stopping product use;

  • return, replacement, refund or another appropriate remedy;

  • cooperation with manufacturers, suppliers and competent authorities.

International Orders

CENARA Skincare sells Romanian skincare, cosmetics and personal care products to customers in the European Union and, where available, to international destinations through express delivery options.

For orders delivered outside the European Union, local import rules, customs procedures, product restrictions, duties, taxes or regulatory requirements may apply. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the ordered products can be lawfully imported and used in the destination country.

Product availability on our website does not guarantee that a product is approved, registered or suitable for sale or use in every non-EU jurisdiction.
