Our Contribution to the Dual System in Germany

For packaging sent to customers in Germany, CENARA Skincare participates in the recycling process through the dual system, where applicable.

The Green Dot is a protected trademark of Der Grüne Punkt – Duales System Deutschland GmbH and is connected to the collection and recycling of sales packaging within a functioning circular economy. The purpose of the system is to help recyclable materials from packaging waste return to the recycling cycle and find new uses.

By contributing to this system, we support the responsible handling of packaging waste and the continued development of recycling infrastructure. This helps conserve raw materials, reduce waste and support a more resource-conscious economy.

For every package sent to Germany, we contribute through the required packaging participation fees, helping ensure that packaging placed on the German market is part of an organised recovery and recycling system.

Our Planet: Plant a Tree with Us

CENARA Skincare believes that care should also reach the world around us.

Each year, we aim to donate funds to support tree-planting projects worldwide.

Through Treedom, tree planting projects support local communities and small farmers during the first years of the trees’ lives, when they need care and are not yet fully productive. Treedom provides technical knowledge, project support and monitoring, while the trees are photographed, geolocated and checked over time.

For us, this initiative is more than a symbolic gesture. It is a way to connect beauty, responsibility and the future. A tree planted today may grow slowly, quietly and patiently — just like the kind of beauty we believe in.

More Responsible Shipping

Shipping is an important part of our environmental responsibility.

For express international deliveries, we work with DHL Express and, where available, use climate-conscious shipping options such as DHL GoGreen or related DHL sustainability services.

These services are designed to help reduce or compensate for the environmental impact associated with transport, depending on the service used, route, destination and carrier availability.

We also continue to review our logistics options so that customers can receive their orders safely, efficiently and with a more responsible approach to delivery.

Products Made in Romania, Within the European Union

CENARA Skincare is dedicated to original Romanian skincare, cosmetics and personal care products.

The finished goods we sell are produced in Romania, within the European Union, by Romanian brands, manufacturers or authorised supply channels. This allows us to focus on products with local heritage, shorter sourcing routes within Europe and brands that are part of Romania’s skincare and personal care tradition.

By choosing Romanian products, we support local producers, European manufacturing standards and a more meaningful connection between product, place and customer.

Reusing Packaging Materials

We believe that a reused box can still carry something beautiful.

Whenever possible, we reuse clean and suitable cardboard boxes, paper, bubble wrap and protective materials received from our suppliers and warehouse deliveries.

This means that, from time to time, your order may arrive in a reused box or with reused protective materials inside. The packaging may not always look brand new, but the products inside are carefully packed, protected and checked before shipping.

We choose this approach because reusing existing materials helps reduce unnecessary waste and gives packaging a second life before it enters the recycling stream.

For us, this is a simple and honest form of sustainability: practical, responsible and respectful of resources.
