The results of the analyzes of the mineralogical content carried out at the Institute of Mining Research and Design MINESA from Cluj Napoca highlighted the rich content in silicates and oxides: SO2 2.06%, SiO2 49.44%, Al2O3 17.11%, Fe2O3 5.80%, CaO 6.72%, MgO 3.00%, K2O 2.50%, Na2O 0.70%, TiO2 0.90%, minerals and trace elements: calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron, silicon, sulfur, cobalt, sodium, chlorine, aluminum, manganese, copper, iodine, selenium, chromium, molybdenum, phosphorus, germanium, zinc, silver, bromine, vanadium, rubidium, boron and those made by the Mures Public Health Center confirmed that the use of clay is beneficial to the human body.
Blue clay can be used with the following effects:

Blue clay can be used in: poultice / wrap, clay baths and cosmetic masks. For poultices use clay paste or it can be obtained by mixing blue clay with non-carbonated flat water or spring water.

wet cotton material, linen, etc. and one waterproof above (cellophane for food use), fixed on the affected place. If the poultice dries quickly, it will dry
damp a few times, or it will change to a new one, as the clay infuses the tissues through osmosis. The duration of application varies depending on the condition. At the appearance of the smallest
discomfort will remove the poultice and wash the area treated with warm water. A fresh one can be applied later. Do not use the same poultice twice.
It is recommended not to apply poultices earlier than 2 hours after the meal. During menstruation no poultices or clay baths are used. For any condition a

The clay bath is made as follows: mix 1-2 kg of powdered clay with as little water as possible to cover, mixing, and leave for one hour before completing the volume
desired with hot water. We recommend that you watch the children while you have water in the bathtub to avoid any danger. The duration of the bath is according to the comfort of the person (minimum 40 min. - maximum 1½ hours). The time interval also depends on the water temperature. A hot bath requires a shorter time. The water temperature must be maintained of the comfort of the person! During this time, the water will be drunk to avoid dehydration that can cause dizziness or palpitations. After the bath is done, the water will be drained with clay and it will drain you will clean your body with hot water. It is recommended to rest in bed at least one hour after the bath, covered with a blanket, during which time it is advisable to consume water. These baths are not recommended during menstruation or for pregnant women.

The cosmetic masks are made with the help of the cosmetic paste or by the method mentioned above for the preparation poultices.
Can be used for all skin types as such or in various combinations. The mask will be kept for 15-20 minutes in a moist state and then removed by washing with chamomile tea (infusion). In order to maintain its humidity, the water spray can be used, or the pieces of waterproof material may be applied over the cosmetic mask in order not to evaporate the water from the clay paste.The airways, nose and mouth are not covered.

- The water to be combined with the blue clay can be flat or non-carbonated (spring) natural mineral!
