Understanding Expiration Dates

The length of time for which a product remains at its best depends on the type of product and the brand. Expiration dates are critical as they indicate the period within which the product is safe to use and will deliver optimal performance.

Our Commitment to Accuracy

We diligently verify and update the expiration dates for all products as they arrive in our inventory. Despite our efforts, occasional discrepancies may occur due to various factors such as high product turnover. For each product, you will find the expiration or “best before” date clearly listed above the price. We encourage you to check this information before purchasing.

Rotation and Freshness

Due to the high rotation of our stock, the products available on our site generally have a long shelf life. We continuously restock to ensure that you receive fresh products with the longest possible expiry dates. However, products on sale may have a “best before” date that is closer to the present date, so please review this information carefully.

EU Regulation Compliance

In accordance with EU regulations, products with a shelf life of over 30 months are not required to have an expiration date on the packaging. For such products, the Period After Opening (PAO) is considered. This period ranges from 1 to 12 months, depending on the product type, and indicates how long the product can be safely used after it has been opened.

PAO (Period After Opening)

For products without a specified expiration date, the PAO symbol (typically found on the product packaging) will guide you on how long the product remains safe to use after opening. This could be 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or up to 12 months.

Return of non-faulty goods We hope you will be happy with your purchase from us. If not, you may return the product to us and receive a refund, provided that you: notify us in writing that you are cancelling your purchase no later than 14 days after the day on which you received your product; return the product in its original condition, unused, unopened and with all original packaging, protective wrapping, hygiene seals, safety seals, cellophane, tamper-evident seals and labels fully intact; have taken reasonable care of the product before returning it; and ensure that the product has not been damaged, opened, tested, sprayed, applied, used or altered in any way. For health protection and hygiene reasons, cosmetic products, skincare products, perfumes, personal care products and other sealed hygiene-sensitive goods cannot be returned once they have been unsealed, opened, used, tested or otherwise handled beyond what is necessary to inspect the product externally. This does not affect your legal rights if the product is defective, incorrect or not as described. This rule is based on Article 16(e) of Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights and, where applicable, Article 16(1)(e) of Romanian Government Emergency Ordinance No. 34/2014, which exclude from the right of withdrawal sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and have been unsealed by the consumer after delivery. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the product to us, unless it is faulty, incorrect or not as described.
